Priscilla Queen of the Desert UK & Ireland Tour

I was kindly invited to the Marlowe Theatre to watch Priscilla Queen of the Desert and WOW… what a show! ✨🌈

It’s a show I had never watched before but it has definitely always been on my list and now I am SO happy I finally got to see it because I honestly can’t wait to watch it again!

From the opening number, the energy was absolutely oozing off the stage from every single performer. The audience were cheering, laughing and clapping throughout and you could just feel how much fun everyone on stage was having.

The costumes were INSANE! Every outfit was so colourful, sparkly and over the top in the best possible way. I genuinely don’t know how they managed some of the quick changes because there were SO many amazing looks throughout the whole show.

The flexibility of these dancers was CRAZY - especially Jak Allen-Anderson who played Farrah. Their legs literally went on for DAYS and every time they came on stage they completely stole the moment. The dancing overall was just incredible and so sharp and energetic the whole way through.

The voices of the three divas were absolutely unreal. Every single song gave me goosebumps and they sounded AMAZING live. Their harmonies were beautiful and honestly some of my favourite moments in the entire show.

The three main characters - Adèle Anderson as Bernadette, Kevin Clifton as Tick/Mitzi, and Adam Bailey as Felicia/Adam - were absolutely brilliant and had such amazing chemistry together throughout the whole show. Each of them brought something completely different to their role and I loved watching their friendships and personalities develop as the story went on.

One thing I really loved was how funny the show was. There were so many moments where the whole theatre was laughing out loud, but then it also had really emotional moments too which made the story feel really special and meaningful.

The set and lighting were also AMAZING and made every scene feel exciting and huge. The iconic bus on stage was so cool to see in real life!

I honestly had the BEST time watching this show - 100% recommended!
